Summer Session of Preschool Story Time Ends! This program is for children ages 3 to 5. This program includes a craft, stories, puppets, songs, activities, rhymes & crafts.

Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 10:30 a.m. Mother Goose on the Loose

Drop in for Mother Goose on the Loose! This 30-minute nursery rhyme program is for children from birth to age 2. Puppets, songs, finger-plays and musical instruments make for a stimulating time for baby's emergent literacy. Registration required/No craft involved.

Thursday, Aug. 2 at 6-6:45 p.m. third grade Pizza and Pages

As part of the Summer Reading Program, "Dream Big, READ!" children entering third grade can join Miss Kathleen as she reads titles from the Lura A. White Summer Reading List. Pizza and drinks provided. This evening is for students entering third grade only. Please register by calling or signing up at the library.

Thursdays, Aug. 2 and 16 at 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Legos at the Library

Legos at the Library for ages 6 through 12. Drop in and create with Legos.

Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 4 p.m. Black Light T-Shirt Painting "We own the night," Teen Summer Reading participants are invited to an afternoon of Black Light T-Shirt painting. Create an amazing effect with black T-shirts and fluorescent paints. T-shirts and paints will be provided.

Please call to register and let us know t-shirt size. Only participants signed up for "We own the night" Summer Reading Program may participate.

Thursday, Aug. 9, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Summer Reading Finale: Ice Cream and Prizes! All prizes will be awarded for the three Summer Reading Programs: Dream Big, READ! We Own the Night and Between the Covers. Ice cream will be available for all Summer Reading participants. No reservations required. These programs are funded by The Friends of the Hazen Memorial Library and Bemis Inc.

Thursday, Aug. 23 at 4 p.m. Book Club for second and third grade students.

Join Miss Kathleen in the Children's Room for the second and third grade book club. Please call to reserve your copy of the book chosen for this month. We will be reading This is a drop-in program, pre-registration is not required.
