TOWNSEND -- Three people were arrested July 30 for an alleged attempted break-in on Bow Street in Townsend.

Melissa Capuano, 26, of Leominster, Christopher Boyd, 20, of Salisbury, and Lukas Gauthier, 18, of Worcester, were stopped shortly after 4 p.m. on July 30 after a Bow Street resident reported suspicious activity at a neighbor's house.

Townsend Police Deputy Chief David Profit said nothing was taken from the house, but some damage was done to the door. No one was in the house at the time of the alleged attempted break-in.

The neighbor identified the car the suspects were traveling in to police, who were able to find it on Route 13. The suspects were pulled over and arrested.

The suspects have been arraigned and are awaiting pre-trial conferences.
