TOWNSEND -- The Townsend Congregational Church will host the lawn party at the Townsend Military Band's Thursday, June 20, concert on the Townsend Common.

Church members will be offering pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers and sausages for sale to hungry concertgoers beginning at 6 p.m. Fresh fruit cups, fried dough and popcorn will be available for purchase. Root beer floats, hot coffee and cold soda and bottled water will be on sale.

A wide variety of homemade cookies, breads, cakes, pies and candies may be purchased. There will be gently-used hard-covered and paperbound books for sale.
