On April 10, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., voter registrations will be conducted for residents who are not already registered or who want to change their political affiliation for the April 30 state primary and our local town election.

Both elections will be conducted on the same day at 272 Main St., from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.

The state primary is for the Senate seat formally held by John Kerry and the town election for a variety of elected positions in the town government. Sample ballots for both of these elections are at townsend.ma.us under elections on the front page.
