To Kill a Mockingbird: North Middlesex Regional High School; 19 Main St. Townsend. Tickets are $6 general admission and free for children under 10y year of age. Get $1 off general admission with a donation of nonperishables. Performances are Nov. 30, at 4 and 7 p.m. and Dec. 1, at 2 and 7 p.m.

SATURDAY, DEC. 1

American Girl Tea Party: The Townsend United Methodist Church will host an American Girl Tea Party from noon to 2 p.m. The featured guest is Josefina, who represents the year 1824 in New Mexico. There will be a light lunch, crafts and a short play with Josefina and her aunt, Tia Dolores. The cost is $15 per person. The church is located at 265 Main St., at the corner of Routes 13 and 119 in Townsend Center.

Well adult clinic: Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, in conjunction with the Townsend Board of Health, announces that a Well Adult Clinic will be held from 1-3 p.m. at the Townsend Senior Center, 12 Dudley Road. Drop in for blood pressure, pulse screening and diet teaching. No appointment is necessary. Well adult clinics

Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, in conjunction with the Ashby Board of Health, announces that a Well Adult Clinic will be held free of charge for the general public on Thursday, Dec. 20, from noon to 1 p.m. at the American Legion, 361 New Ipswich Road. Drop in for Blood pressure, pulse screening and diet teaching. No appointment necessary. Household hazardous waste collection

Townsend residents may bring hazardous materials for disposal to the Devens Regional Household Hazardous Products Collection Center at 9 Cook St. (rear) on the first Wednesday and following Saturday of each month (Dec. 5 and 8), from 9 a.m. to noon, except for holidays and weather-permitting.

The cost for residents is $20 for up to five gallons or five pounds of material.
