Hula-Hoops for Everyone! Make your own custom decorated hoola-hoop. Ages 6 and up. Space is limited, sign up required! Materials fee of $5 per hoop is due at time of program. We will have this event on the Library Lawn if the weather is nice if not it will be in the Storytime Room. Wednesday Sept. 19

NEW!! Ready, Set, Read! A pre-school storytime for ages 4-5. Similar to our Beginner's Book Club, this storytime will feature activities for older children, pre-reading skill building, and early literacy tips for parents. Homeschool Playtime and Social Group: This group will meet each Wednesday to play games, socialize, do activities, and have fun! Please bring a board game to play with others. Families with school aged children are welcome. Siblings of all ages are welcome as well! Caregivers must remain in the room during this program. Please register so we have an idea how many people will be attending each week. This program is free and open to the public! NEW SESSION!12 Week Weight Loss Challenge: The weight loss challenge is a one hour class that meets weekly, for 12 weeks. Participants learn to develop a realistic, life-long plan for weight loss and physical activity by learning the latest, information about good nutrition, digestive health, reading food labels, portion control, how and why we hold body fat and much more. The class costs $39 for the entire 12 weeks. $10 is donated in the participant's name to the Fit-Kids Foundation for the prevention of childhood obesity. The remainder of the money is rewarded back to the participants in prizes and cash rewards.
