Texas Hold Em Tournament

A Texas Hold Em Tournament to benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life will be held on Saturday, May 17 at the Shirley American Legion, Church St., Shirley. NM Pop Warner registration

North Middlesex Pop Warner is now accepting applications for scholarships. The requirements are: two years minimum participation; one year minimum volunteer within NMPW; college acceptance letter. Crusader Basketball Camp

Crusader Basketball Camp will be held from Thursday, June 26 to Wednesday, July 2 (excluding the weekend). The camp is about fun and fundamentals and will be held at Groton-Dunstable Regional High School and Groton-Dunstable Middle School for boys and girls entering grades three through eight.

Crusader Basketball Camp will be directed by former Groton-Dunstable Athletic Director Bob Catalini and present Groton-Dunstable Athletic Director Dan Twomey. The camp has served the Groton-Dunstable community and surrounding towns with great pride and enthusiasm since the early 1990's.

The camp is dedicated to providing campers with the best instructional skills to help improve their game. It features excellent courts and facilities, educational videos, guest lecturers, fosters team building, and has an experienced staff comprised of high school and college players.

The cost of the camp is $150 (of which $50 must accompany the application as a deposit) with a $50 discount for each additional family member that enrolls. The cost of the camp includes a t-shirt and an award for every play, and more. Sean Wellington Summer Basketball League seeks teams and sponsors

The Sean Wellington Summer Basketball League is now accepting teams and sponsors for the upcoming 2008 season. This is a men's league that runs through the end of the summer and is located in Pepperell at the Sean Wellington Courts. The deadline to enter a team is May 16. Lacrosse registration

The North Middlesex Youth Lacrosse Association girls' registration is still open. Teams are for ages eight to 14, and this is a travel league. The registration for boys in grades five and six is also still open. This is also a travel league. Registration forms are available at www.nmlax.com. If you are a new participant, a copy of a birth certificate is also required. Registration fee is $120. Each participant must also become a member of U.S. Lacrosse.
