Score: Groton-Dunstable 3 Algonquin 2

Groton-Dunstable boys' tennis moved to 2-4 on the season after defeating Algonquin 3-2 yesterday. Ryan Bunis got things started for the Crusaders with his 6-1, -5 straight-set sweep of the Tomahawks' James Hawn. In the number two singles match, Groton-Dunstable's Eric Yenchenco fell to Adam Gilfix 3-6, 6-3, 4-6. Kyle Fisher defeated Nick Cheung; 6-4,6-2. The number one doubles tandem of Jack Niemoller and Mark Roper were unable to hang with Algonquin's Tadas Buivydas, and J.J. Courtney as they fell in straight sets; 3-6, 0-6. James Lynch and Drew Carter secured the win in the final match with their 7-5, 7-5 straight set victory over Algonquin's Nate Morrell and San Factor.
