BOLTON -- Last Friday the Central Massachusetts Soccer Coaches Association held its annual Senior Bowl for the top high school soccer players across all Divisions of Central Massachusetts high school soccer. Bromfield, Groton-Dunstable, and North Middlesex all had representatives participating in the All-Star match.

Groton-Dunstable seniors Dani Kenney (forward) and Kailyn Rekos (goalkeeper) were named to the Div. 2 All-Star team along with their teammate, sophomore defender Brittany Belanger. In addition to being added to the Central Massachusetts All-Stars, Kenney and Rekos were also selected to the All-State team. Rekos also is the lone female athlete in the area to land a spot on the All-New England team. Rekos verbally committed last year to play at the Div. 1 level for the University of Delaware Blue Hens.

The Bromfield Lady Trojans were represented by junior forward Rylee Osgood and senior Moriah Arnold. Bromfield has Osgood coming back for another season. Osgood was the Lady Trojans' leading points-getter with her 23 goals and six assists this season.

On the boys side of the pitch, it was no surprise that the Div. 2 State Champion Groton-Dunstable Crusaders had five players added to the Central Massachusetts Div. 2 All-Star team.

Seniors Nate Pomeroy, Mike Keating, Alex Murphy, and Doug Rosa are joined by their sophomore teammate Matt Tornaritis. Keating, Rosa and Pomeroy were all selected to the All-State team.

Pomeroy also finds himself on the All-New England team and he is still in contention for a sport as an All-American.

For Bromfield, Dylan Osgood and Ben L'Ecuyer were named to the Div. 3 Central Massachusetts All-Star team and were also placed on the All-State roster. North Middlesex had their leading goalscorer, Steven Julius, named to the All-State team for his strong performance at forward this year for the Patriots. Julius tallied 11 goals and four assists for North Middlesex in 2012.

A banquet will be held by the CMSCA on Sunday, Jan. 6, at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Leominster to recognize all of the All-Stars for their accomplishments this season.
