BEVERLY -- Groton-Dunstable finished eight overall at the Division-2 State Golf Finals hosted at the Beverly Golf and Tennis Club. The Crusaders posted a team score of 349.

Senior Brendan Hunter was Groton-Dunstable's top finisher with a score of 75 taking third-place. Evan Bunis shot 87, Greg Preston 91, Ryan Bunis 96, Dean McCann 97,and Andrew Sinnery recorded a score of 107.

"The players were happy to make it to state play," said David Bean, the Crusaders' head golf coach. "Seniors Brendan Hunter and Ryan Bunis will be missed next year, but hopefully incoming freshman and sophomores will pick up the play."
