U8 Breakers vs. Revolution
Spectators were captivated at a recent Sunday game as the Breakers took on a tough Revolution team with nonstop hustle on the field. Lyla Buxton, Ella Livie, Annalisse Marr and Nicholas Mellin put on quite a performance, with amazing hustle and several key steals. Tess and J.W. McDevitt, Tristan Miner and Ryan Salinas demonstrated some show-stopping defense, while Sydney Ting, Sophia Yamanishi, Chistopher Corrado and Charles Misail put the "pep" in Pepperell with some precision passing and shooting.
On the offensive side of the ball in Sunday's game for the Revolution team Riley Barry, Andrew Peterson, Kylie Graham, Anthony Salazar and Eva Morrissey worked together nicely on their passing, dribbling, turns and cutbacks. Shannon Connelly, Luke Orkirko, Isabella Beek, Norah Russell and Catherine Graham did their best on the defensive side of the ball to keep team Breakers out of the offensive zone with a lot of blocked shots, clearing the ball, and hustle.
U8 Freedom vs. Fire
There was a great team effort from team Freedom vs. Fire. Ryan Bettencourt, Daniel Hunter, Dominic Hall, Lilly Boccelli, Emma Boccelli, and Anna Leao played fantastic! Noah Bagley had numerous amazing goals. Daniel Hunter shock off an injury early in the quarter and had multiple strong passes, and showed great hustling throughout the game. U6 Teams
U6 Crew vs. Strikers
The Crew's Olivia Peterson, Grace Menicci and Ella Holloran battled their opponents as they turned vigorous defense into high scoring. Other defensive plays with excellent drag-back were made by Michael Mongelli, Braydon Miller, Manny Monteiro and Meghan Daly to help stop incoming attacks. Excellent passing by Natalie Minckler, Ava Finn and Emily Archambault, and dribbling and ball handling by Jiro Kashiwabara and Jack Anderson, all helped keep the pressure on the Strikers on the field.
