Ham and bean supper: United Church of Shirley will host a Ham and Bean Supper with scalloped potatoes, corn bread, salad bar and a dessert bar. Tickets will be on sale at the door for $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12 and children ages 5 and under will be free. Spaghetti dinner: Hose Company #1 of the Shirley Fire Department is sponsoring a spaghetti dinner for Shirley American Legion Post 183 from 5-7:30 p.

Spring meat raffle

A spring meat raffle will be held at the Ayer Gun & Sportsman's Club in Friday, march 15, at 7 p.m. Come join the fun and vie for hams, turkeys, pork loins, prime ribs and more. In addition to our normal raffles, there will be a special raffle for a flat-screen TV and door prizes.

St. Patrick's Day supper

The Ayer Gun & Sportsman's Club will host at St. Patrick's Day "all you can eat" corned beef and cabbage dinner on Saturday, March 16, at 6 p.m.

Tickets at $12 are available at the club, 255 Snake Hill Road, Ayer.
