The Ayer-Shirley Education Foundation would like to thank everyone who came out on Sunday for the 2012 Holdenwood Trail Run in support of enrichment programs for our schools. This wonderful community event brought more than 350 people out to enjoy the beautiful grounds generously opened to us by the Holden Family. We are so grateful to the Holden Family and all those who gave of their time and energy to make this annual event a success. We would especially like to thank our two race directors, Matt Korhonen and Jason Rakip, for keeping all the arrangements on track; the many volunteers who helped with registration, course set-up, and race day logistics; the hearty walkers and runners who participated and the families that cheered them on; and a heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsors including premier sponsor The Bull Run Restaurant. It is events like the Holdenwood Trail Run that remind us what makes our shared community so special. We look forward to seeing everyone on the trail again in 2013!
