This fall, ShirleyArts! will present the folktale of "The 12 Dancing Princesses" under the direction of Meredith Marcinkewicz. This is a play and not a musical, but there will be a little bit of dancing by the princesses. Students in grades 3 and up are invited to audition Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 6 p.m. at the Ayer-Shirley Middle School. We need someone to play the king, the narrator, the butler, the prince, the witch and the princesses who are of many different ages and sizes. Rehearsals will be Tuesday and Sunday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m., with performances Nov. 2 and 3. Tuition will be $90 with scholarship help available. Email mail@shirleyarts.org with questions.
