PEPPERELL -- The Community Church of Pepperell will hold its Fall Festival on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (rain date Oct. 5) at Three Townsend Street (across from Town Hall).
Donations from church and community members will be on display in "yard sale" fashion on the lawn. You never know what treasures you'll find, but there's always a great assortment of household goods, furniture, sporting equipment, audio/visual equipment, tools, seasonal items, plus a separate area for gently used toys and games.
Inside the brick building behind the church you'll find some larger furniture items, including a settee and a round oak table with two leaves that have been in the church for as long as any of us can remember. One newer item is a beautiful tall, glass-front cabinet. You'll also find used books, CDs and DVDs, and our Church Mouse Boutique offering glassware, dishes, linens, and décor for everyday use or entertaining.
You're guaranteed to find Halloween and fall items for sale in this area as well, both used and newly crafted. And don't forget to come by for your pickles, jams and jellies. Bring a clean, reusable jar and get 50 cents off the price of each jar purchased.
Join us to sell your own items -- rent a space for $20 -- or donate your gently used items to the church for the church to sell. Call 978-433-2055 for information or email email@example.com.
Plan to come early to shop all the areas, but allow time for a lunch break of hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill -- and yes, there will be French fries this year!
