WCVB-TV Channel 5's "Chronicle" episode will highlight local farms, including Kimball Fruit Farms, of Pepperell, and discuss the trend of the farm-to-table movement, airing Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 7:30-8 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 18, from 11:30 a.m. to noon.

Their farms to your table: Talk about a tasty route! Chronicle will celebrate the people who make eating local a delight, as they visit a fruit farm that is a favorite among Boston chefs; meet a self-professed tomato snob who's making very popular pastas and sauces; see a unique program in action that introduces city kids to the joys of farming; and discover that the milkman is not just a thing of the past!

For all you foodies out there, it may come as no surprise to you that Chef Eric Brennan advocates for the farm to table movement. Rest assured, he is not just riding the wave of this trend. In fact, every month he partners with a farmer or fisherman to prepare a multi-course dinner at the popular Boston restaurant Post 390. Chronicle will follow Chef Brennan's partnership with Kimball Fruit Farms of Pepperell, as they collaborate on this month's meal.
