The town of Pepperell is offering, through the Board of Selectmen, a Property Tax Work-off Program that will assist veterans with their tax bills and secondly, the work will increase involvement for veterans in municipal government.

You must be a veteran and own and occupy property on which taxes have been paid for a minimum of five years. Only one abatement/application allowed per household and there are financial guidelines: $35,000 earned income single and $50,000 married.

Applications are available at the Selectmen's Office, Town Hall, One Main Street. Deadline for applications is Jan. 30.
