Christmas Fair: The Community Church of Pepperell is hosting its annual Christmas Fair from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Gift basket raffle, book corner, preowned jewelry table, silent auction, Artisan's Corner (one-of-a-kind items all hand made). There will be baked goods to buy and you can join us for our delicious ham luncheon, roasted potatoes, mac-n-cheese, green beans and carrots along with warm buttered rolls complete with ice cream berry sundae dessert. Plenty of children's activities and a "Children's Only Gift Shop." Santa will be joining us from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Christmas Tree Lighting at Lawrence Library: Celebrate the holidays with your friends and neighbors! Enjoy a musical performance by the Apple Seeds School students and Girl Scouts, cookies and cocoa and a visit from Santa! Monthly Veterans Breakfast at the VFW: 8:30 a.m. The Pepperell Army Community Covenant hosts a monthly veterans breakfast, now at the Pepperell VFW Post 3291 on Leighton Street (instead of the Senior Center) and now on Saturdays in the hope of accommodating more veterans and soldiers who can't make Friday mornings because of work schedules. The breakfasts will be on the first Saturday of each month. Veterans, active military and the general public are welcome to attend these free breakfasts. Our sponsor is state Rep. Sheila Harrington. On Saturday, Jan. 5, at 8:30 a.m., our sponsor is the Pepperell Fire Department.

Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, in conjunction with the Pepperell Board of Health, announces that a Well Adult Clinic will be held on Wednesdays, Dec. 5. and 19, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Senior Center on Senior Center Road (off 37 Nashua Road Route 111).
