PEPPERELL -- On Saturday, Dec. 1, the Community Church of Pepperell is hosting its annual Christmas Fair from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Don't miss this great holiday event. There will be something to interest everyone and lots of bargains to be had. Attractions include a gift basket raffle with a wide selection of themed baskets. Browse the used book corner and the preowned jewelry table. There will also be a silent auction.
The artisan's corner offers one-of-a-kind items, all handmade by Community Church crafters. This group works tirelessly all year to create custom-designed clothing items (including scarves, hats and mittens), unique ornaments and home decorations. The homemade jams and pickles are always in high demand and sell out quickly. The artisan's corner is a great place to find unique gifts for holiday giving. Visit the Church Mouse Boutique for fine gift collectables.
If you build up an appetite shopping, there will be baked goods to buy and the vestry will host a delicious ham luncheon, with roasted potatoes, mac-and-cheese, green beans and carrots along with warm buttered rolls complete with an ice cream berry sundae dessert.
There will be plenty of children's activities at the Christmas Fair. Younger guests are invited to decorate a gingerbread house, have their faces painted and seek out bargains at the children's only gift shop, where all guests under the age of 12 may purchase gifts for their family members at kid-friendly prices.
Mark your calendar for a day of Christmas activities, homemade foods and holiday shopping. The Pepperell Community Church is at 3 Townsend St., directly across from Town Hall.
