The Pepperell Garden Club is excited to announce another floral design demonstration on Wednesday, Nov. 12. The program will begin at 6:45 p.m. at the Senior Center on Nashua Road, Route 111.

Maureen Christmas of Acton, will use live flowers to show how one can create a lovely arrangement to grace their home to welcome the fall and winter holiday seasons including design tips and a bit of history about the origins of some common customs.

Owner of Floral Notes, Christmas creates flower arrangements for all special events. She is an accredited National Garden Club Flower Show judge, and has been creating floral designs for many years. Christmas has won numerous top awards at the New England and Newport Flower Shows for her floral interpretations and, most recently, the Deanna J. Mozzochi Creative Design Award for the best Creative Design of the year in the NGC's New England Region. Her designs have been published in the National Garden Club's Vision of Beauty Calendar and By Design Magazine -- a publication of the Garden Club of America.

The Pepperell Garden Club will raffle the arrangements made during the program. The Charter Cable will be on hand to record the program for later viewing. Pepperell Garden Club is a member of the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, Inc. and welcomes guests and new members from all communities. Guest fee is $5 or $2 for seniors. A $15 annual membership fee allows members to enjoy a year of informative programs, meeting new friends, and community beautification. Refreshments will be served.
