HOLLIS, N.H. -- A 35-year-old Pepperell man was killed in an early morning motorcycle crash in Hollis, N.H., according to published reports.

Hollis police issued a prepared statement Wednesday indicating that a man was killed when his motorcycle went out of control on West Hollis Road near Blacksmith Lane about 2 a.m.

Police said the 2004 custom chopper motorcycle was traveling south on West Hollis Road when it crossed the center line of the road, into the northbound lane, and then went off the road.

No other vehicles or people were involved.

The Telegraph, of Nashua, reported Wednesday afternoon that the victim was a 35-year-old Pepperell man.

Hollis police declined to confirm that report by press time. Hollis police said the victim's identity is being withheld pending notification of his family.
