Seniors to Soldiers for the Holidays, Packing Party Aug. 3

The Pepperell Army Community Covenant will be hosting a Packing Party Friday, Aug. 3 immediately following the veteran's breakfast.

Collection are being accepted now.

There is no denying that the collection of items to send to soldiers overseas last year was a huge success!! Dozens of packages filled with a variety of useful, fun and uplifting items were sent.

The Pepperell Army Community Covenant would like to remember our local soldiers again with the same type of items. Through thank you responses from the summer's packages, we know that the DVDs (used or new), personal cards and messages, small games and paperback books were really well received.

p.m., Pepperell United Methodist Church is hosting a Simply Summer Buffet serving a variety of your favorite summer foods to include cold baked ham, hot dogs, pineapple dressing, salads and assorted baked desserts and beverage. You can eat-in or take-out. Please join us for fun, fabulous food and fellowship. Cost is $9 for adults, $8 for seniors and $4 for children. You are automatically entered to win the door prize with purchase of your supper ticket. Located at 1 Chapel Place, Pepperell (one block behind Dunkin Donuts).

Monthly Veterans Breakfast at the Senior Center

The Pepperell Army Community Covenant hosts a monthly veteran's breakfast at the Pepperell Senior Center on the first Friday of every month. Veterans, active military, and the general public are welcome to attend these free breakfasts.
