The Stop the Pipeline Coalition is hosting a fundraiser for the coalition of homeowners, businesses, land trusts and all citizens interested in supporting the campaign to stop the Kinder Morgan proposed Northeast Energy Direct pipeline.

The fundraiser is on Sept. 4, at 7 p.m. at the Anthony Hars house, 46 Long Hill Road, Groton. There will be speakers versed in alternate solutions to the pipeline, live music and refreshments provided by Lucia's Tavola from Ayer. Funds raised will be used to defray anticipated legal and other expenses incurred to oppose the pipeline.

Suggested ticket price is $25, additional donations gratefully accepted. Nashoba Conservation Trust is the fiscal agent for Stop the Pipeline, the coalition organizing this fundraiser, and all donations are tax-deductible.
