I tried last year to get the town of Townsend to paint white edge lines and a middle yellow line on Route 124 to no avail.

This road is very dangerous at night, especially when a car approaches from the opposite direction, and multiply this by 10 when it is a rainy night.

I travel this road frequently at night returning from my son's residence in Greenville, N.H. When a car approaches from the opposite direction, I just about have to stop in order to find the edge of the road. This makes for a dangerous situation, especially if there is a car behind me.

Could you ask the state to do this or request additional funds to accomplish this project?

By the way, when was the last time lines were painted on this road? I will bet your records don't go back that far.

Now is the time to turn over a new leaf.
