I would like to correct information which was presented in a recent article entitled "Pastor: Homeless problem actually an opening," which appeared in your Oct. 5 edition.
It was erroneously reported that Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry Inc. does not serve the homeless. In fact, we welcome the homeless at the pantry and encourage them to visit and receive not only some groceries, but -- perhaps equally important -- some information and resources which might be useful to them. We have NEVER, in our 29 year history, turned anyone away.
We invite community members to visit the pantry and learn more about our mission. Please feel free to contact us at 978-772-4627 or email me at email@example.com. I would be happy to speak with anyone and share with you the good work that is being done to lift and feed our neighbors.
