Well adult clinic

Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, in conjunction with the Harvard Board of Health, announces that a Well Adult Clinic will be held on Tuesday, July 16, from 1-2 p.m. at the Hildreth House, COA, 15 Elm St., Harvard. Drop in for blood pressure, pulse screening and diet teaching. No appointment is necessary. Harvard's 4th of July festivities

Fireworks

On July 3, the 4th of July Committee and Fruitlands Museum will host a concert with various bands followed by the fireworks display. Doors open at 5 p.m., concert begins at 5:30 p.m. and fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m. Cost to enter is $20 per car or $10 if anyone in your car is wearing this year's 4th of July T-shirt. T-shirts are available at the Transfer Station on Saturdays or by contacting Pam Brown at Pam.Brown@CommunitySoftwareGroup.com.

The annual parade and field events will take place on July 4.

Schedule as follows:

10 a.m., kids' bike decorating contest on the Common

11 a.m., parade begins at Depot Road and ends at the library field

Noon, award ceremony and flag raising, immediately followed by field events at the library field:

12:15-12:45 p.m., pie-eating contest

12:45-1:05 p.m., candy scramble

1-3 p.m., face-painting and tattoos

1:05-1:30 p.m., sack race

1:30-1:55 p.m., three-legged race

1:30-3 p.m., firemen mini-muster

1:55-2:20 p.m., parent-child relay

2:20-2:40 p.m., egg toss

Ongoing activities (12:15-2:30 p.m.): Climb the greased pole, win a prize at the duck pond, tin can knockdown, purchase of your 4th of July T-shirt.

Volunteers for next year

We are urgently in need of new committee members for next year. This is the last term for several key players on the Committee and next year's 4th of July Celebration is in danger of being canceled if we cannot recruit a new committee by January of 2014.
