SHIRLEY -- You are invited to join the Gardeners Exchange for a presentation on "Medicinal Uses of Herbs" on Saturday, June 22, at 11 a.m. at J. Gilson Greenhouses, located at 20 Dale Lane in Groton.

The meeting will be preceded by a spring plant swap at the historic Center Town Hall, located at the intersection of Parker, Center and Brown Roads in Shirley, at 10 a.m.

The Gardeners Exchange is a community garden club with members from around North Central Massachusetts. We meet monthly on weekends between February and October to visit each other's gardens, take field trips to other gardens and nurseries, participate in workshops, and gain expertise on a wide variety of horticultural topics.

The garden club acquired its name from its members' exchanges of ideas, as well as plants.
