HARVARD -- Bromfield High School remains a strong presence at the top of the heap in terms of top performing districts. So says U.S. News & World Report magazine in its annual survey of high schools nationwide.

The magazine ranks Bromfield sixth statewide (among 289 school districts) and the 149th-highest ranking high school nationwide.

The top ranked Massachusetts high schools were cited as: Sturgis Charter/Hyannis, Boston Latin, Advanced Math & Science Charter/Marlborough, Dover-Sherborn, and Salem Academy Charter/Salem.

Rounding out the top 10 after Bromfield are: Wellesley, Mystic Valley Regional/Malden, Belmont, and Duxbury.
