HARVARD - Bromfield High School remains a strong presence at the top of the heap in terms of top performing districts. So says U.S. News & World Report Magazine in its annual survey of high schools nationwide.

USN&WR ranks Bromfield sixth statewide (among 289 school districts) and the 149th highest rank high school nationwide.

The top ranked Mass. high schools were cited as: Sturgis Charter/Hyannis (#1 in MA, #31 nationally), Boston Latin (#2 in MA, #57 nationally), Advanced Math & Science Charter/Marlborough (#3 in MA, #130 nationally), Dover-Sherborn (#4 in MA, #132 nationally), and Salem Academy Charter/Salem (#5 in MA, #139 nationally).

Rounding out the top ten after number 6 Bromfield was: Wellesley (#7), Mystic Valley Regional/Malden (#8), Belmont (#9) and Duxbury (#10).
