HARVARD -- Worshipers made a spiritual pilgrimage for the Procession of the Cross from St. Theresa Church in Harvard to St. Francis Xavier Church in Bolton. The two churches, now united into Holy Trinity Parish, have participated in the Good Friday tradition since 2006.

Here, Kim McFarland and daughter Sage McFarland, both of Harvard, took the first leg, carrying a large wooden cross from St. Theresa Church on Still River Road into the center of town. Families took turns carrying the cross for quarter-mile intervals, stopping along the 5.4-mile route for prayer in anticipation of Easter Sunday.
