HARVARD -- The Bromfield School's Celebration 2013 Committee today announced that planning has commenced for Celebration 2013, Harvard's post-prom substance-free event. To be held at The Bromfield School on Friday, May 17, from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Celebration 2013 is possible through volunteer work and donations from parents, families, community members and local businesses. Celebration 2013 will be open from 9 to 11 p.m. for the community to enjoy before the prom-goers arrive.

"We are excited to make this year's Celebration a fabulous and safe post-prom party for our Bromfield juniors and seniors," said 2013 Celebration Committee Co-Chairperson Pat Cooper. "The amount of volunteers needed to make Celebration a success is incredible. We urge folks to join our efforts now during the months leading up to prom night in May and help us continue the prom fun while we keep our kids safe."

Individuals can join one or more of the eight Celebration 2013 subcommittees, including decorations, prize/fundraising, publicity, entertainment, food, administration, tear-down/set-up, and chaperone. For information on how to contribute your time by joining one of the subcommittees, contact Phyllis Simpson at 978-456-9095.
