Meditation Classes at GCOA
Join yoga teacher MaryLu Hildreth at the Groton Senior Center this fall for an "Exploration of Meditation." Learn about and try a number of different approaches to this age-old practice and join in to discuss, share and ask questions about what you're experiencing.
It's doubtful that anyone can really explain exactly what meditation does for us. The clinical studies do show how it can positively affect our bodies, and that will be discussed. But the perceptual changes, how we experience and relate to ourselves and the typical ups and downs of our lives, can be just as interesting and amazing.
Class will run for nine weeks starting Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2:30-3:30 p.m. (no class Thanksgiving week), cost is $45. To sign up contact the Groton COA, 978-448-1170.
