SATURDAY, MAY 4

Yard Sale Benefit, UCC Groton: Don't miss the community yard sale inside the Union Congregational Church from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. inside the Fellowship Hall (rain or shine). Come shop for furniture, books, "knick knacks," housewares, toys and much more. Proceeds will help middle and high school students to fund their mission trip to Lincoln County, West Virginia (the poorest county in the U.S.), where they will be painting and repairing homes and running a half-day Christian Camp for young children. If you are interested in donating gently-used large or small items for the sale, you can drop them off on Thursday or Friday night, May 2 and 3, from 6-9 p.m. (only) at the church. UCC Groton is located at 218 Main St. (across from Filho's Cucina). For information, contact Charlene Kelly at insurcoord@aol.com or the church office at 978-448-2091.

SUNDAY, MAY 5

Our walk will take about two hours, is suitable for children, and will be held unless it is very stormy. Dogs must be well behaved and kept under owner's control. Wear suitable hiking shoes.
