GROTON -- Groton Local and the NRWA are co-sponsoring a screening of the film "Genetic Roulette: The Gamble of our Lives" at the NRWA Resource Center, 592 Main St., Monday, March 18 from 7 to 9 p.m.
The film features consumer advocate Jeffrey Smith of the Institute for Responsible Technology and discusses what's in our food, should we be eating genetically modified organisms and how to avoid them if you so choose. There will be a post-film discussion with Jack Kittredge, policy director at the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Massachusetts.
