GROTON -- The Groton-Dunstable High School Art Club is hosting its first Art and Craft Fair this holiday season on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center, 344 Main St.

It will feature established and emerging artists and craftspeople working in a wide range of media, including painting, collage, photography, metals, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, stained glass, and more.

This is a fundraiser event for the newly formed Art Club and will establish arts scholarships for GDHS students. We are also seeking to promote and build the arts community in the greater Groton-Dunstable region to benefit both arts professionals and for the cultural benefit of our schools and communities. The fair will also include holiday gifts, raffles, baked goods, face painting, and music.

Exhibitors include Robert C. Bicknell, Iphegenia Gossios Burg, Suzanne Hampton, Mary and Tom Hanson, Leonard Haug, Wendy Jackson, Diane Johnson, Michelle Kolb, Julie L'Heureux, Kathy Mayer, Heather Mischel, Oaxaca - Arte Mexicano, Lori Sullivan, M.Nigel Wright, GDHS Art Club and others.

The snow date is Dec. 9.
