The Merry Trippers and Friends will be traveling to two of the most famous international cities, which are sure to be on most bucket lists. The Olympians have left London, but it has been all spruced up and now is a good time to enjoy this historic city. April in Paris has had songs written about it and plays and movies featuring all the history, romance and culture throughout the centuries and still is a vibrant location.
Our tour begins in London, where we will see Trafalgar Square, St. Paul's Cathedral and Buckingham Palace. We will attend a fine theatrical performance. Windsor Castle is an option and we will see Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. We depart London on the Eurostar High Speed Train to Paris with dinner at the Eiffel Tower. Enjoy a romantic Seine River cruise along the backdrop of Paris' glittering skyline. On tour in Paris, the world famous Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, Champs-Elysees, Place de la Concorde and magnificent Place Vendome are some of the amazing landmarks you will see. Optional tours to the Versailles Palace and the Louvre are available. Our final night we attend a dinner and performance at the Paradis Latin, Paris' oldest cabaret show.
An optional three-night Rome post-tour extension is available. This is a Collette Tour. Deposit of $250 per person is due upon reservation but no later than Nov. 9, 2012, and final payment due by Feb. 17, 2013.
