For the next two weeks or so, the Groton Channel will be showing this year's Skateworks performance put on by the 3Rivers Arts organization, formerly the Groton Center for the Arts. In addition to being an entertaining program, this production is also the 100th shoot for Groton Channel volunteer Don Campbell.

Campbell first came to the Groton Channel in the summer of 2005 when he enrolled in the free basic video production workshop that the Groton Channel offers several times a year. Since then, he has helped on exactly 100 shoots for the Groton Channel, including many basketball games, football games, Nashoba River Watershed presentations, library events, news stories, as well as many other sports and events. He has even produced his own show on the rail trail and boarded a helicopter to get us some aerial footage.

Campbell works full time for Staples.com and is a Web entrepreneur himself, having created Pepperellusa.com and Tastingnashua.com. Despite keeping busy, Campbell has been one of the most prolific volunteers for the channel and his production skills make him a very welcome addition to any of our projects. Congratulations to Don, and many thanks from the Groton Channel.
