"Under the Stars" Young Adult Summer Reading Program Events*:

YA Craft Night: Stick It! Wednesday, Aug. 8, 7-8. We'll have lots of colorful duct tape on hand so you can make a wallet, belt, flower, purse or other fun novelty item. Grades 6-12.

Mars or Bust! Thursday, Aug. 9, 7-8. The Aldrich Astronomical Society offers a fascinating slide show & hands-on displays on the human exploration of Mars. Grades 5+ Parents welcome.

"Dream Big: Read!" Summer Reading Program Events* for Children:

Movie: "We Bought a Zoo," Tues., Aug. 7, 10:30-12:30. Rated PG. All ages.

Tom Knight Puppets: Wednesday, Aug. 8, 11-12. Lots of fun stories, skits, plus sing-along songs and simple dance steps for the audience. Ages 3+.**

The World of Owls:*** Fri, Aug. 10, 11-12. Wingmasters presents a fascinating program with a variety of live owls. Ages 5+**
