GROTON -- Are you still looking for something for your kids and teens to do this summer?

Would they like to have lots of fun and make new friends while being challenged in the arts, mathematics, tennis and swimming?

The Groton Center for the Arts still has openings in all three sessions of Summer ArtWorks Camp.

Camp is being held on the beautiful Groton School campus. Session one runs from June 29 to July 10; session two runs from July 13 to July 24; and Session 3 runs from July 27 to Aug. 7.

There are an amazing seven programs for kids of all ages:

* The Junior Program, for ages 4-6, lets children explore art, drama, dance, music, games, tennis and swim instruction in a fun-filled secure environment.

* Senior Artworks is for children ages 7-12. Mornings are busy as campers rotate through dance, music, art and theater. Afternoons offer a choice of theater, art, dance, tennis, Math-Art-Matics or Music Mayhem.

* Math-Art-Matics is offered to children ages 7-12. Math is taught through the exploration of hands-on art and nature projects.

* Music Mayhem is offered to children ages 7-15. Campers collaboratively create music using any and all instruments, under the instruction of local music talent Mike Geezil.

* In Tennis Camp, the fundamentals, rules and skills are taught to campers ages 7-12, instructed by teacher Rich Hamilton.

* There are also programs for teens available, that teach how to become a counselor

in training (ages 13, 14) or a counselor apprentice (ages 14-16).

* Swimming in the large and luxurious Groton School pool is also part of the daily fun.
