Adopt an island
The town of Ayer is once again offering the "Adopt an Island Program" for all publically-owned traffic islands, rotaries and spaces. This is a great opportunity to promote your local business and to help beautify Ayer. If you would like to volunteer to adopt a traffic island or public area in Town to help keep Ayer looking beautiful, please contact Chris Hillman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All "Adopt an Island" signs must conform to the town of Ayer's signage bylaws and must be preapproved by the town prior to being placed.
Preference will be given to Ayer businesses and organizations. The town of Ayer reserves the right to remove any signage, items and plantings that pose a public safety risk and/or do not conform to the town's bylaws.
