Fixing our broken democracy June 5

A program entitled "Fixing our broken democracy," will be held Thursday, June 5, from 7-8:45 p.m. at the Groton Public Library Community Room, first floor, 99 Main St., Groton.

This 90-minute workshop sponsored by Greater Boston Move to Amend traces the evolution of corporate power and the erosion of our democracy. We will discuss why we need an amendment to the United States Constitution to keep big money out of politics and restore the democratic power of our vote; and the strategy to accomplish this as part of the growing bi-partisan national organization, Move to Amend.
