HARVARD -- Harvard's second annual Bare Hill Triathlon, sponsored by the Harvard Lions Club, will be taking place on Sunday, June 29, beginning at 8 a.m. with a half-mile swim, 10.5-mile bike ride and 3.2-mile run.

The staging and transition areas and finish line will be on the grounds of the Harvard Library.

This sprint triathlon is suitable for seasoned triathletes as well as those with no prior experience looking for a little challenge and fun and is open to both individual entrants as well as relay teams.

Individual registration is $70 and teams $80; since this is an official USA Triathlon-sanctioned event, there is also a $12 USAT fee for all entrants. Participants receive a 2014 Bare Hill Triathlon T-shirt and participation medal and all finishers are eligible for raffle prizes. Medals and prizes will also be awarded to top male and female finishers overall and top finishers in each age category.
