The Baroque Duo -- harpsichordist Suzanne Cartreine and violinist Joy Grimes Wallace, will include works by J.S Bach, Håndel, Corelli, Telemann, D'Angelbert, plus a selection of early 20th century American popular songs. Don't miss the performance of these two accomplished musicians!
Suzanne has performed with several chamber ensembles and as soloist with the Boston University Baroque Orchestra, the Sounds of Stow Orchestra, and the Macalester College Symphony Orchestra. She holds a DMA in Historical Performance/Harpsichord from BU, an MMus in Piano Performance from Temple University, and a BA in Physics from Macalester College.
Joy performs regularly with both baroque and modern violins. She presently performs with many area orchestras and ensembles, and is active with early music festivals in Boston, Amherst, and the Utah Shakespearean Festival. She has master's and doctorate degrees in viola performance, and is on the faculty of Newton Suzuki School.
