PEPPERELL -- Art students, grades kindergarten through 12, from across Massachusetts have been selected to display their creative works at the Massachusetts Transportation Building in Boston.
This multi-media exhibit is sponsored by the Massachusetts Art Education Association in conjunction with Youth Art Month, a national celebration that emphasizes the value of art education for all children and encourages support for the quality art programs in Massachusetts schools.
The Youth Art Month exhibit will be on display and open to the public weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through April 25. It's closed Saturdays, Sundays and Patriots Day, April 21. Admission is free.
Five students from Nissitissit Middle School are representing Pepperell, under the direction of teacher Vicki Domings, in this year's Youth Art Month exhibit. These young artists are: Abby Johnson, grade 8; Zach Rea, grade 7; Brigitte Yargeau, grade 6; Calandra Boutin, grade 6; and in grade 5, Trinity Groom.
