New England in the throes of change 1815-1848 to be presented April 7
Local Harvard artist, teacher, illustrator and Woman's Club member, Karen Dolimount and author and historian, Mary Fuhre, have collaborated in producing a work of nonfiction that takes place in nearby Boylston during the early 19th century. They will be the featured speakers at the Harvard Woman's Club on Monday, April 7.
In her book, Fuhrer, whose specialty is 18th and 19th century New England, describes life in early-to-mid 19th century Boylston and gives a perspective on the choices people made in that community, which later brought about historic consequences.
Luncheon starts at 11:30 a.m. followed by the program at 12:15 p.m. at Holy Trinity Parish, 15 Still River Road, Harvard. All are welcome!
For membership information, contact Karen Dolimount at 978-456-3401.
