ACTON -- For our 30th season, the Acton Community Chorus prepares for our Winter Lights concert when we will proudly present Mozart's Requiem under the direction of Paul Johnson, our director since the founding of the chorus.

If you enjoy choral singing and would like to take part in this special concert presentation, we invite you to attend either or both of our two open rehearsals on Sept. 9 and 16. Please see our website for information: actoncommunitychorus.org.

The chorus rehearses on Monday nights leading up to our concert to be held at the end of January 2014. If you love to sing, please come and check out the chorus; no audition required. All parts, soprano, alto, tenor, bass are welcome.

Haven't sung in some time? We'll help you decide what voice part is a fit for you. We rehearse at the Faith Evangelical Free Church, 54 Hosmer St., Acton. (While the church graciously hosts our rehearsals, our chorus is nonchurch affiliated.) Join us at 7:15 p.m. so we can answer any questions and provide you with some information before our rehearsal begins at 7:30. All rehearsals end at 9:30 p.m.

ACC performs a classical concert every January and a spring concert of popular music based around a theme such as "Cruisin' to the Tropics," "Night Skies," and "A Night at the Movies."

The chorus typically has over 60 members who join us from more than 15 Metro-West area communities.
