This summer's show is produced and directed by Susan Bonito and Kate Hoch, with musical direction by David Lussier and choreography by Jessica Parsons.

Hoch says that it's "great for the audience to see kids of all ages working together. Plus, musical theater provides some incredible life skills for the performers."

How do the young performers, directors and producers describe the show? The one word that is synonymous with all things Disney: magical.

"It's such a magical show," adds Hoch, "with amazing music and choreography. There are so many parts not only for the kids to play, but for the audience to fall in love with."

The story follows an old man, Maurice, who becomes lost in the woods and seeks shelter in an old castle, but finds that the master of the castle is a horrible beast that takes him captive. Maurice's daughter, Belle, must then give up her freedom to save his life. Belle's taming of the unfortunate Beast and his ultimate transformation back into a handsome prince reveals how very different people find strength in one another and in learning how to love.
