Get some fresh air, meet neighbors, do a good deed, and eat free pizza

*Remove invasive plants at Fish and Wildlife's new Visitors Center

*Plant flowers under directional signs in public ways

*Clear Barnum Road hiking trails of trash, brush and overgrowth

*Make turtle crossing signs - paint, attach screws and posts

*Other projects and dates can be supported as needed

Lunch with The Lorax, Monday/Tues., April 22-23, noon to 1 p.m.

Bring your lunch bag to 33 Andrews Parkway and enjoy this Dr. Suess (shown in two parts) of how one man's greed and industrialization transformed a landscape filled with Truffula Trees and frolicking animals to a plastic city where residents enjoy inflatable trees, fast cars and fresh air from a bottle. This story teaches viewers that "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better."

Take a Hike, noon to 1 p.m., meet at 33 Andrews Parkway

*Friday, April 19, Fish and Wildlife Visitors Center. Learn of volunteer needs and activity plans for the almost open facility. Hike the path around the facility and check out the river where a canoe launch will soon be available

*Thursday, May 2, Devens/Shirley Solar Field

*Save the dates for future hikes: May 8, May 16, May 21
