HARVARD -- Fruitlands Museum will host the second annual Craft Festival in partnership with the Worcester for Crafts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. 5- 4 p.m. Sunday.

The festival is a juried show featuring woodworking/woodturning, glasswork, ceramics, pottery, fiber art and more area.

"In our first year, we had an amazing collection of artists participate. The crowds really seemed to enjoy the artwork," says Kerry Castorano, Fruitlands' director of development. "Through our collaboration with the Worcester Center for Crafts, we hope to continually attract highly skilled artists and to grow this event into one of the area's premier juried craft shows."

The festival will be held outdoors, rain or shine, in the museum's upper fields. In addition to being able to browse the artwork and talk with the artists, guests will also have the opportunity to explore the museum's historic buildings and collection of New England and Native American art and historical items. They can also walk more than two miles of wooded trails to enjoy the natural landscape that surrounds the museum.

Admission to the event is $5 per person with children 12 years old and younger free. This cost also includes access to the buildings and trails. This event is open to the public. For more information about the Craft Festival call (978) 456-3924 ext. 289 or visit www.fruitlands.org.
