Summer Concert on the Common: Food for sale, free fun for all, 6 p.m. Rain or shine event; in case of rain, concert will be held in the Shirley Meeting House.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 9

UCC Groton Worship & Sunday School: Union Congregational Church of Groton resume 10 a.m. worship. All are invited to attend. Nursery care for infants and toddlers is available. September 9th is also Sunday School registration day. The Sunday School serves children from preschool through 8th grade. Children in Kindergarten through fifth-grade participates in a rotational model of Bible-based instruction. Junior High students follow a separate curriculum designed for their age group. Marrow Registry in Still River: All are welcome to join the Marrow Registry from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at Holy Trinity Parish on 15 Still River Road, Harvard. Dana Farber Cancer Institute professionals will be on hand as well as Camp Sunshine volunteers, who will help to organize the drive. All it takes is a cheek swab to join the bone marrow registry.
